All right let’s be real Bali has a lot of hype, although is extremely overcrowded now you can still find some places that are special and secluded in this article you will learn about some tips we have to beat those crowds and food let’s get started with the top 10 things to do in Bali and beyond.

10. Canggu

Canggu is not a hidden gem in Bali you might have listened about that if you have a bit of interest in Bali which is only 45 minutes away from the airport located on the southern coast of Bali. This chill surf town is surrounded by rice paddies which have great restaurants and long stretches of black sand beaches, the two most popular beaches. Here are Batu Bolong and Eko beach where you can head to Batu Bolong for the best sunsets and restaurants.

9. Yoga retreats

Bali trees can be chosen for a retreat located in a small village with no tourism around other than the retreat. Bali is so crowded now and it was heartwarming to experience a more secluded area that was totally different in the past.
Balinese yoga while also immersing yourself in the Balinese culture and which is so relaxing, you can feel every part of your body involved and relax. Bali trees activities include getting a traditional massage or taking a sunset rice farm tour is a great source to help the local community.

8. Ubud

One of my favorite places to be in Bali Ubud is the one touristy place and you will find so many calm areas as well. It has really preserved its culture and those quiet areas in the midst of the chaos are covered with rice paddies and amazing restaurants, beautiful food temples, markets, and extremely kind people who have made Bali a great place to stay.
For the experience of waterfalls, you have to drive more than 30 minutes to an hour’s motorbike.

7. Seminyak pool party

Along with Changu Seminyak is another touristy part of Bali with some of the best beach clubs which you are definitely going to enjoy. Bali has many beach clubs and one of them is called Mississippi, the reason to choose this club is they had a five-meter high dive, probably not a great thing to do.

Beach clubs can get quite expensive in Bali but the entrance speed in Mississippi is only about $7 round per person which is quite a fair deal. Seminyak includes potato head or fins beach club, while the drinks at these beach clubs are so expensive compared with others. With friends at your accommodation before going, if you go to Long Island iced teas can cost you so much money.

6. Gili islands

Gili islands aren’t actually a part of Bali, they are a group of islands ( called Lombok), the three most common Gili islands are tara wong, party island, and Meno these are the romantic getaway. If you get up early in the morning you can swim off the shore to reach the statues and no one will be there. That is the time when you can enjoy many parts of this island also you can take some photographs for Instagram. Nemo is so small that you can ride a bicycle around the whole island in 15 minutes and that’s it.

The thing which makes this island so special is that there are no motorized scooters in the whole place, the only form of transportation is horse or bicycles. Horse-drawn carriages are not the main form of transportation anymore. On the other side of Gilliam is a turtle point now. No matter which island you choose each has fun trips different from the others and that makes every island unique. The best part is that you are going to find a sleepy night.

5. White sand beaches

On the east coast of Bali biased to Bell known as the white sand beach may be the best beach in Bali and the most underrated as well. From Ubud, it is only an hour away on a motorcycle, and it is best for a day trip to a beach. Here you will find the perfect white sand and a view of an active volcano in the distance to the bluest water with big waves for body surfing.

This is surrounded by rocks that cause huge explosions of water when you stand near them, also this makes a romantic scene. Many locals also tourists like to play their guitars and sing with you on the beach which makes it more loveable.

4. Amed

The most relaxing and secluded place in Bali is Amed located two to three hours from the airport. It is highly suggested a trip to this East Coast oasis for some of the best chilling and outdoor activities, scuba diving, and snorkeling opportunities you will find there. Some incredible shipwrecks and underwater temples the areas offshore are filled with fish and wonderful coral which is a great scene.

Although it is known for its underwater activities, there is much more this area has to offer to the visitors to grab their attention. A viewpoint of the active volcano mounts Agung you can see there. Mahi-mahi is a pretty incredible fish that you can try to catch.

It may not be for some tourists out there reading but for the guys who love adventure-like things, it was kind of a dream come true. This place is still pretty quiet so you would head there as soon as possible before it becomes overloaded with tourists ( early in the morning).

3. Nusa Penida

Of the three Noosa islands off the coast of Bali Nusa Penida is the most famous you’ve probably seen pictures all over your Instagram feeds. The insane landscapes of this island are even better than what you’ve seen online. Might be this disturbing for you that this island is very dangerous to ride motorbikes, so prepare yourself to either hire a private driver for a tour or rent motorbikes( not recommended) but the roads are horrible.

Try to reach early before it becomes overloaded with a crowd. At the bottom lies the most unbelievable beach but also the most challenging beach that can take 30 minutes to an hour to get you down because the track is not that secure and smooth. These man-made steps are uneven and scary while climbing at a 90-degree angle. However, the good news is not many tourists want to be on this death climb.

2. Waterfalls

Waterfalls are such a fun and easy thing to do in Bali and you would love that as well. These islands are covered with hundreds of waterfalls and every single one is fascinating.
There is just so much more you want to see but it depends on your trip and how long you are going to stay. While traveling set sail off the coast of Lombok on a boat with strangers from around the world, you can’t just forget that experience.

1. Komodo Island

Komodo dragons are not that extremely cool, I’m even sure that the favorite part of the trip will be to stop at some insane spots like the pink sand beach, Long Beach, and Padam Mountain and spend time sailing around some of the most beautiful deserted islands. After that sitting underneath the stars at night and jumping off the boat more times.

Hope you enjoyed it. Leave a comment and ask me any queries related to this. Your 1 positive response can make my day. And also share with your friends and family if you love it.
Thanks!
